It’s my birthday and I’ll play kickball if I want to! I had the best Birthday weekend with family and friends. My Mom and Step Dad watched our tiny men in Kansas City while Doug and I had some quiet time at home, caught up on sleep (praise Jesus) and hosted our annual adult-only kickball tournament. BBQ, cocktails, music, great friends and some friendly competition. It was such a fun day.
My parents drove the boys back to Des Moines Sunday morning. Before they got here we headed to brunch with some friends and laughed about the night before. It’s always nice having some adult time but seeing my tiny men roll into the driveway was the best thing ever. They had the biggest smiles on their faces and had a blast with their Nonno and Nonna. They made me the cutest birthday cake and Ripken was so proud that he helped make it. Ripken and I had a movie date while Doug and Roman hung out at home and we all went to an early dinner to finish off the birthday celebration. It truly was the best birthday ever.
These twill leggings fit like a glove and do not slide down. My top is a relaxed fit and is SO soft; definitely something I will be wearing a couple times a week. You can never go wrong with comfy athletic attire.
