I’m sitting here, sipping my coffee & Diet Dr. Depper (don’t judge) as I listen to my tiny men play with the Mr. I pulled yet another all-nighter with our teething chunk and Doug can always seem to tell when I’m about to burst into tears from being so tired. He scooped up the boys, sippy cups and all, and headed downstairs so I could have some time to myself. Bless that man.
We went out for dinner & drinks last night to celebrate one of our closest friends birthday. We have been running around with the same group since college, including some new loves we’ve scooped up along the way, and I adore every single one of them. Our hubbys played college baseball together and the wives have grown to be great friends. We totally hit the jackpot when we found our Iowa family. It’s rare that we can all get together at the same time. We were missing a few last night but that’s what happens with busy schedules and brand new babies to snuggle.
