It’s a sunny 72 degrees here and I am loving every minute of it. I wanted to say THANK YOU to all the prayer warriors out there who prayed for our sweet Ripken while he was in surgery last week. He had a cyst removed from his left ear and everything went great. He did not shed one tear and was so smiley when we went back to see him. Prior to surgery he requested saltines and a red shushee. His sweet nurses made sure he had both as soon as he woke up. Those first snuggles after surgery are the best. On our way home he told us ‘God isn’t great, he’s the greatest!’ and we could not agree more.
You can’t wear white after Labor Day, right? WRONG (at least in my book)! I am a huge fan of wearing white all.year.round. My favorite time to wear white is actually in the Fall and Winter. There’s something about the cool air that makes me crave the crisp look of a bright white sweater or denim. Sure, it’s nearly impossible to go an hour without getting a peanut butter or ketchup stain from those cute, tiny fingers that pull at me all day but that’s why I buy Oxy Clean & bleach in bulk.
