I’ve been a little MIA this past week. Our Roman Oliver has what seems like 50 teeth coming in. The past 3 weeks have not involved much sleep for either of us but he is so darn cute when he’s awake. We have already made three, yes THREE, trips to the FroYo shop. It soothes those baby gums and who am I kidding…. I enjoy it just as much as the boys do.
Side note: I accidentally gave this sweetie a mullet this week but it seems acceptable for a 16 month old.
My hubs is building a new office (5 min. from our house… WHOOP!) and has asked me to design it (excuse me while I do my happy dance). My very talented friend also happens to work as the designer for the builder so we are having a little too much fun putting our ideas together. We have been busy figuring out the layout and just started the best part… deciding the finishes & furniture. We are hoping it will be done in 2-3 months and I could not be more excited for Doug and his team. They work their butts off and this new space is well-deserved!
Ripken started 3 day pre-school and is loving it as well as gymnastics and soccer. He has the sweetest preschool teacher and loves his new friends. The babe and I are loving our new 1:1 time. We have spent quite a few hours walking the Target aisles and running around outside. I love having that sweet chunk all to myself but after about an hour I am ready to go snatch up Ripken from school. He goes 3 days a week and those mornings can be a bit hectic.
On the days we don’t have to be anywhere, we wake up slow and snuggle-up while we sip our coffee and milk. This ruffle pullover is the perfect pj top for those slow mornings. It is the softest thing you will ever feel, is lightweight AND comes in 3 colors. These lounge shorts are so comfy & I have been living in this bralette (comfiest thing EVER). Today we are cooking a meal for one of my dear friends who has a brand new babe (recipe coming later this week!), catching up on laundry (AGAIN) and hopefully spending the whole afternoon outside.
